BANANA BREAD WITH COCONUT SUGAR

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 large mashed bananas

  • ¼ cup melted butter

  • 1 cup Nature’s Lane Organic Coconut Sugar

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • ¾ cup milk


METHOD

  1. Cream together the mashed bananas, butter, coconut sugar, egg and vanilla.

  2. Mix in the flour, baking soda and salt.

  3. Fold in the milk.

  4. Pour into a 9 x 5 bread pan and bake at 180°C for about 45 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
